WEC commits to caring for their roots and future
Starting last March 2012, a professional English teacher from UK has been invited and supported by WEC to teach English phonics in a Hong Kong local primary school, San Wui Commercial Society School. E
very week the English teacher, Ms. Kim Jackson through interactive stories, brings the primary students to Letterland, an imaginary place where phonics learning can be experienced with great fun.
Letterland is a unique, phonics-based approach to teaching reading, writing and spelling to 3-8 year olds. Its information-rich Letterland characters transform plain black letter shapes into child-friendly pictogram characters, who live in an imaginary place called Letterland.

"At San Wui Commercial Society School (SWCS) we place great emphasis upon catering for the needs of each pupil. We are proud of our history of accepting all-comers and strive to cater to the needs of all students. To this end, we have operated small class teaching and integrated strategies throughout the school for many years" said Mr. Lui, principal of SWCS.

"We believe that children are our future. Communication skills and education play an important role in ensuring children's well development in this increasingly international world" said Tina Wah, general manager of WEC.
